يعاني زوجي من انعدام الحيوانات المنوية وقد عمل عينة في مستشفى آدم ونهذه تيجتها
Gross pathology :
A testicular biopsy, totally embeded.
Microscopic picture :
Serial sections examined revealed 50% of seminiferous tubules wre exclusively lined by sertoli cells only. Some of tubules 40% showes minimal population of germ cells with maturation arrest at spermatogonia. The rest of the tubules showed mturation arrest at the level of primry spermatocytes. The basement mmrane was thick. Spermatids & spermatozoa were not detected. Leydig cells showed unremaekable changes. No evidence of inflammatory reaction, granuloma or neoplsia.
Diagnosis : Right testiculr biopst :
– Marked hypospermatogenesis with spermatogenic arrest at primry sprmatocytes (10%).
– Marked hypospermatogenesis with spermatogenic arrest at spermatogonia (40%).
– Germ cell aplasia, sertoli cells only (50%).
